RECOVERING FROM AN EXTRACTION
Tooth extraction can range from a simple procedure or a more involved oral surgery. Depending on the nature of your procedure, you may be able to return to work the following day or require a long weekend to recover.
It’s best to keep a variety of soft foods on hand, as well as an anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen. Applying a cool compress to the inside and outside of your mouth every 20 minutes will help to reduce inflammation.
