Dental Implants
Dental implants are small titanium posts that are placed into the jawbone to support replacement teeth. Over time, the implant bonds to the surrounding bone, creating a secure and stable foundation. Once healing is complete, a custom crown, bridge, or full-arch restoration is attached to complete your smile.
Single Tooth Implants
If you are missing one tooth, a single implant offers a conservative and lasting replacement. Unlike a traditional bridge, a single implant does not require altering the teeth on either side. After placement and healing, a custom crown is attached that blends naturally with your surrounding teeth. The result is a restoration that looks, feels, and functions like your own tooth.
All-on-4 Dental Implants
All-on-4 uses four precisely positioned implants to support a full arch of replacement teeth. This streamlined approach often allows for temporary teeth to be placed the same day as surgery. Patients from Apex appreciate this option because it restores function and confidence without requiring a lengthy timeline or removable appliances.
Immediate Implants
In select cases, we place an implant the same day as a tooth extraction, reducing the overall treatment timeline and the number of procedures required. Our doctors evaluate your eligibility during your consultation appointment.
Snap-On Dentures
Snap-on dentures attach securely to implants in your jaw, providing the stability of implants with the convenience of a removable appliance. Unlike traditional dentures, they do not shift or cause discomfort during eating or speaking.
Sinus Lift Procedure
Patients who need implants in the upper jaw sometimes require a sinus lift to create adequate bone height for placement. We gently raise the sinus membrane and add bone material to build the proper support. This procedure opens the door for implant treatment for patients who may have been told elsewhere that implants were not an option.
Bone Grafting for Implant Preparation
When bone loss has occurred due to tooth loss or gum disease, bone grafting helps rebuild and strengthen the jaw before implants are placed. Our doctors perform this procedure in-house, creating a stable foundation that improves implant success and long-term outcomes.

FAQs
How long does the full implant process take?
For most patients, the complete process from initial consultation to final restoration takes between three and six months. A significant portion of that time is the healing period following implant placement, during which the implant fuses with the jawbone, a process called osseointegration. If preparatory work such as bone grafting is needed, the timeline may be longer. We walk every patient through a personalized schedule at the first visit.
Will my implants look like natural teeth?
Yes. Each crown, bridge, or denture restoration attached to your implants is custom-made to match the shape, size, and shade of your natural teeth. Our doctors take care to ensure your restoration integrates seamlessly with your overall smile. Most people cannot distinguish an implant crown from a natural tooth.
What happens if I choose not to replace a missing tooth?
When a missing tooth goes unreplaced, the surrounding teeth may gradually shift out of alignment, and the jawbone in that area can begin to deteriorate. Over time, this can affect your bite, facial appearance, and overall oral health. Dental implants help prevent these long-term complications by stimulating the jawbone the same way a natural tooth root would.
How do I care for my dental implants after placement?
Implants should be cared for the same way you care for your natural teeth. Brushing twice daily, flossing, and attending regular dental checkups are essential to maintaining gum health and protecting your investment. With proper care, dental implants are built to last a lifetime.
